Scope of application

These guidelines apply to competent authorities when determining the level of QAFM that count towards reaching the target level of the DGSs under their supervision, and when reporting the required information to the EBA.

When a DGS is administered by a private entity, competent authorities should ensure that these guidelines are applied by such DGSs.
