Relevant authorities should publish an outline of the methodology for the supervisory assessment applied during the identification process, including optional indicators, if any, and for setting the buffer requirement. If they make use of the option to raise or lower the threshold mentioned in paragraph 9, relevant authorities should specify the reasons for this amendment and define the specificities of the Member State’s banking sector and the resulting statistical distribution of the scores on which this decision is based.
