Article 1 1.
This Directive establishes minimum requirements for preventing major accidents in offshore oil and gas operations and limiting the consequences of such accidents.
Article 1 2.
This Directive shall be without prejudice to Union law concerning safety and health of workers at work, in particular Directives 89/391/EEC and 92/91/EEC.
Article 1 3.
This Directive shall be without prejudice to Directives 94/22/EC, 2001/42/EC, 2003/4/EC ( 1 ), 2003/35/EC, 2010/75/EU ( 2 ) and 2011/92/EU.
