Article 12 Tasks of ACER as regards wholesale market integrity and transparency

monitor wholesale markets, collect and share data and establish a European register of market participants in accordance with Articles 7 to 12 of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011;

issue recommendations to the Commission in accordance with Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011;

pursue and coordinate investigations pursuant to Articles 13 to 13c and Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011;

authorise and supervise inside information platforms and registered reporting mechanisms pursuant to Articles 4a and 9a of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011;

have the power to impose periodic penalty payments in the cases referred to in Article 13g of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011.
