4.11. Approval of calculation method

The DGS should seek approval from the competent authority in cooperation with the designated authority before the initial implementation of the calculation method. The DGS should obtain renewal of approval of the competent authority in cooperation with the designated authority at a frequency which the competent authority in cooperation with the designated authority deems appropriate and, in any event, before introducing any material changes to an already approved calculation method. The DGS should notify the competent authority and designated authority of non-material changes to the calculation method on a yearly basis.
