The OPS layer comprises all security aspects of an operational nature. This particularly includes the security aspects of IT operations in both in-house environments and those that are run partially or completely by third parties. Furthermore, it includes the security aspects that are to be considered when running IT operations for third parties. Examples of modules in the OPS layer include Protection Against Malware and Outsourcing for Customers.
