The IT Operation Department SHOULD consider mailboxes, objects, security policies, Active Directory concepts, and connections to other e-mail systems. It SHOULD also take into account the functional differences between different versions of Exchange. The new system SHOULD be tested in a separate testing network prior to being installed.
