Competent authorities should determine and implement a longer-term AML/CFT supervisory strategy where they set out how they will mitigate the ML/TF risks they have identified in all sectors and subsectors, where relevant, under their supervision. The strategy should be based on the sector-wide risk assessment carried out by competent authorities in accordance with Guideline 4.3.
