In addition, in certain circumstances, the competent authority should also consider the assessment of individual SREP elements resulting in a score of ‘4’. Such circumstances may arise when there is no high risk to the viability of an institution and the Overall SREP score is ‘3’, but the assessment of the SREP elements covering the specific areas mentioned in Article 27(1) of Directive 2014/59/EU indicates that an institution may meet the conditions for early intervention, resulting in a score of ‘4’ assigned to the corresponding SREP elements.
