Subject matter

These guidelines specify the approach institutions, as defined under point (3) of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013, should take when applying the requirement to group two or more clients into a ‘group of connected clients’ because they constitut e a single risk in accordance with Article 4(1)(39) of that Regulation.
