NET.1.1.A30 Protection Against Distributed Denial of Service (H)
In order to fend off DDoS attacks, the available bandwidth SHOULD be purposefully distributed over different communication partners and protocols by means of bandwidth management. In order to be able to thwart DDoS attacks with very high data rates, mitigation services SHOULD be purchased via larger Internet service providers (ISPs). Their use SHOULD be contractually regulated.
