Article 16a 1.

Member States may choose to certify tools which enable consumers free of charge to compare prices, tariffs and coverage between providers of the compulsory insurance referred to in Article 3 as ‘motor insurance independent price comparison tools’ if the conditions of paragraph 2 are met.
