Article 5 2.
Subject to point (b) of Article 32(2), existing ships shall comply, as far as practicable, with paragraph 1. In the case of ships going for recycling, they shall comply, as far as practicable, with paragraph 1 of this Article from the date of the publication of the European List of ship recycling facilities (‘the European List’) as set out in Article 16(2). Subject to point (b) of Article 32(2), when the inventory of hazardous materials is developed it shall identify, at least, the hazardous materials listed in Annex I.
