Article 9 Information to the public

Member States shall ensure that the strategic noise maps they have made, and where appropriate adopted, and the action plans they have drawn up are made available and disseminated to the public in accordance with relevant Union legislative acts, in particular Directives 2003/4/EC ( 2 ) and 2007/2/EC ( 3 ) of the European Parliament and of the Council, and in conformity with Annexes IV and V to this Directive, including by means of available information technologies.

This information shall be clear, comprehensible and accessible. A summary setting out the most important points shall be provided.
