The SREP process as set out in the SREP Guidelines requires competent authorities to carry out regular monitoring of key financial and non-financial indicators for all institutions. For the purposes of this monitoring, competent authorities need to identify indicators and set thresholds that are relevant to the specificities of individual institutions or groups of institutions sharing similar characteristics (peer groups).
