These specific provisions of the guidelines are subject to the following transitional arrangements:

• (a) For institutions that fall under SREP categories 3 and 4 as set out in the EBA Guidelines on the revised common procedures and methodologies for the supervisory review and evaluation process and supervisory stress testing (SREP Guidelines)¹¹ , paragraph 18 will apply as from 31 December 2019 [ 6 months after the application date of the guidelines ].
• (b) For SREP category 3 and 4 institutions, paragraph 114 will apply as from 31 December 2019 [ 6 months after the application date of the guidelines ].
