Article 8 2.Where the administration uses recognised organisations to conduct surveys, as described in paragraph 1, it shall, as a minimum, empower such recognised organisations to:
—
require a ship that they survey to comply with this Regulation; and
—
carry out surveys if requested by the appropriate authorities of a Member State.
