5.9. Recovery planning governance

To assess internal governance and institution-wide controls, competent authorities should consider findings and deficiencies identified in the assessment of the recovery planning governance framework conducted in accordance with Articles 6 and 8 of Directive 2014/59/EU.

Similarly, findings identified from the assessment of the SREP elements, including internal governance and institution-wide control arrangements, should inform the assessment of institution’s recovery plans.
