Article 13b 7.

The amount of compensation referred to in paragraph 6 shall not exceed 50 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent for the Union as a whole. Where the demand for compensation exceeds the maximum amount of compensation available, that compensation shall be distributed on a pro rata basis among the Member States concerned.
