Article 34 Reimbursement rates

For indirect actions funded under Horizon Europe, by way of derogation from Article 34 of Regulation (EU) 2021/695, and for activities funded under the Digital Europe Programme, the Joint Undertaking may apply different reimbursement rates for Union funding within an action depending on the type of participant, namely SMEs, and the type of action. The reimbursement rates shall be indicated in the work programme.

By way of derogation from paragraph 1 of this Article and Article 34 of Regulation (EU) 2021/695, for actions belonging to the quantum technologies pillar that are funded under Horizon Europe, each work programme shall indicate a mandatory component covering indirect research and innovation actions up to TRL 5, which shall be funded by the Union at 100 % of the total eligible costs.
