Article 5 3.
Member States shall ensure that, by the end of the 2015 bathing season, all bathing waters are at least ‘sufficient’. They shall take such realistic and proportionate measures as they consider appropriate with a view to increasing the number of bathing waters classified as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’. As regards Mayotte, the time limit referred to in the first subparagraph shall be 31 December 2031.
