In addition to primary energy use referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article, Member States may establish additional indicators of non-renewable and renewable primary energy use, and of operational greenhouse gas emissions produced in kgCO2eq/(m2.y). In order to ensure reduction of operational greenhouse gas emissions, minimum energy performance standards shall take into account Article 15a(1) of Directive (EU) 2018/2001.
