APP.4.2.A13 SAP Password Security (S)
To ensure secure logins to an SAP ERP system, profile parameters, customising switches, or a security policy SHOULD be configured appropriately. The hash algorithms used for the stored hash values of the passwords in an SAP ERP system SHOULD comply with the current security standards. Access to tables with hash values SHOULD be restricted.
