Article 39 2.

The Executive Director appointed under Regulation (EU) 2018/1488 shall, for the remaining period of the term of office, be assigned to the functions of the Executive Director provided for in this Regulation with effect from the entry into force of this Regulation. The other conditions of contract shall remain unchanged.
