Where there is more than one competent authority, e.g. one responsible for the prudential supervision of institutions and another one for investment firms subject to Article 1(2) or (5) of Regulation (EU 2019/2033), in a Member State or where the responsibility for supervision lies with the European Central Bank, the competent authorities should co-ordinate the data collection amongst themselves and provide each other with the necessary data and information to ensure that only one set of data is collected and reported to the EBA for that Member State.
