These guidelines are addressed to competent authorities as defined in Article 4, points (2)(i) and (2)(viii) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010, and to financial institutions as referred to in Article 4, point (1) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 that are investment firms that meet the conditions for qualifying as small and non-interconnected investment firms set out in Article 12(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2033.
