Article 42 Legal status

Article 42 1.	The Board is hereby established. The Board shall be a Union agency with a specific structure corresponding to its tasks. It shall have legal personality.
Article 42 2.	In each Member State, the Board shall enjoy the most extensive legal capacity accorded to legal persons under national law. It may, in particular, acquire or dispose of movable and immovable property and be a party to legal proceedings.
Article 42 3.	The Board shall be represented by its Chair.
