Credit institutions’ management body should regularly review its disclosure policies to ensure that the information disclosed continues to be relevant to the credit institution’s risk profile, product concentrations, industry norms and current market conditions. In doing so, credit institutions should provide disclosures that facilitate comparisons with its peers, enabling users to monitor changes in the credit institution’s ECL estimates from period to period and perform meaningful analyses across national and international peer groups.
