Where the status referred to in paragraph 6 of this Article indicates that the relevant product entering or leaving the market has been identified, pursuant to Article 17(2), as requiring to be checked before it is placed on the market or exported, customs authorities shall suspend the release for free circulation or export of that relevant product.
