Where competent authorities are required to make amendments to the initial AML/CFT supervisory plan, such as changing from off-site to on-site supervision or from thematic reviews to full scope inspections, to adapt to the new circumstance or to tackle the emerging ML/TF risks, they should have appropriate internal governance arrangements in place when processing such changes to the supervisory plan. All such changes should be adequately documented by competent authorities, explaining how and when the supervision of those subjects of assessment affected by changes to the plan will be carried out. 4.4.4 Supervisory tools
