Collecting information

Competent authorities should gather the information from the entities under their supervision and provide it to the coordinator and to the other competent authorities, unless specific arrangements have been made for another competent authority to gather the information concerned from those entities.

The coordinator should lead the information requests on the financial conglomerate. The coordinator and the competent authorities should ensure that existing regulatory reporting is used to the greatest extent possible and that duplication of reporting is avoided.
