Scope of application

These guidelines apply to DGSs when performing stress tests of their systems in accordance with Article 4(10) of Directive 2014/49/EU.

Where designated authorities administer a DGS, they should apply these guidelines when performing stress tests of the DGS’s systems. When a DGS is administered by a private entity, designated authorities should ensure that these guidelines are applied by such DGSs.
