1. Az alábbi módszer isme rteti, hogyan kell azonosítani „x” -et a minimális hozzájárulás esetében a hozzájárulási arány 72b. pont szerinti kiszámításához.

2. Először is, a betétbiztosítási rendszernek valamennyi tagintézetet növekvő sorrendben kell rangsorolnia, az összesített kockáza ti súlyuk (ARW) és a biztosított betéteik szorzata alapján. A rangsorukat az „r” index mutatja. A legalacsonyabb 𝐴𝐴𝐶𝐶𝐴𝐴 szorzattal 𝑖𝑖 ∗𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶 𝑖𝑖 rendelkező tagintézet rangsorban elfoglalt helye r=1, a legmagasabb 𝐴𝐴𝐶𝐶𝐴𝐴 𝑖𝑖 ∗𝐶𝐶𝐶𝐶 𝑖𝑖 szorzattal rende lkező tagintézet rangsorban elfoglalt helye r=n.
