Title V — Final provisions and implementation

These guidelines apply as of 1 January 2015. Relevant authorities should implement the guidelines by incorporating them in their supervisory procedures within six months after publication on the EBA website.

By derogation from point 16, the O-SIIs designated in 2015 and their scores should be published not later than 1 January 2016.

During 2015 and 2016, the EBA and relevant authorities should assess mandatory and optional indicators used in these guidelines.

These guidelines, in particular the minimum mandatory framework, including the core set of criteria, the mandatory indicators, weights and thresholds, and the scope of the supervisory assessment should be reviewed by 30 April 2016. Progress made in international standards, supervisory reporting and approaches to measure systemic importance should be considered to ensure that the assessment methodology is appropriate.
