The role of compliance officer, taking into account the principle of proportionality as set out in Title I, can be combined with the head of the RMF or, where it is not proportionate to appoint a person who is dedicated only to this function, can be performed by another senior person (e.g. head of legal), provided there is no conflict of interest between the tasks performed.
