Subject matter

These guidelines specify the objectives and minimum content of cooperation agreements between DGSs or, where appropriate, designated authorities, required to have such cooperation agreements in place in accordance with Article 14(5) of Directive 2014/49/EU⁵ .

These guidelines aim to ensure a common and consistent approach to such cooperation agreements across Member States, contributing to strengthening the European system of national DGSs in accordance with Article 26 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.
