5. Ongoing supervision of significant-plus branches

The ongoing supervision of branches that satisfy the intensification test (significant-plus branches) should be organised and performed in accordance with the tasks and responsibilities of the consolidating supervisor and the home and host competent authorities referred to in Directives 2013/36/EU and in Directive 2014/59/EU and having regard to Sections 5.1 to 5.8 of these guidelines.

The consolidating supervisor and the home and host competent authorities should endeavour to ensure that the operational context of the college fully enables the supervision of the significant-plus branches in accordance with these guidelines.
