Article 30 4.
Where the production of an engine type or, where applicable, an engine family is definitively discontinued, the manufacturer shall notify the approval authority that granted the corresponding EU type-approval of that discontinuation. Within one month of receiving that notification, the approval authority that granted the EU type-approval for the engine type or engine family shall inform the approval authorities of the other Member States accordingly.
