Huvigrupi asutamislepingus märgitud asukoht peab olema ühenduse piires.

Asukoht peab olema kas:

a) huvigrupi juhatuse asukoht või

b) huvigrupi ühe või mitme liikme juhatuse asukoht või füüsilise isiku puhul tema põhitegevuse koht, tingimusel et huvigrupp seal tegutseb.
