Guideline 9.17 is replaced by the following:

‘9.17 Where a bank has determined , based on its ML/TF risk assessment carried out in keeping with these Guidelines, that the level of the ML/TF risk associated with the business relation-ship is high, it should apply the EDD measures set out in Article 18 of Directive (EU) 2015/849 as appropriate.’
