Before taking the decision to terminate a business relationship, in particular where the prior PSP, IPSP, CASP or ICASP in the transfer chain is a respondent counterparty from a third coun-try, PSPs, IPSPs, CASPs and ICASPs should consider whether or not the risk can be managed in other ways, including ex ante through the application of enhanced due diligence measures in line with Article 19 of Directive (EU) 2015/849.
